Well, she took the PC home with her this weekend so my kitchen is now clean of PC garbage and she has her sexy new rig. All is well.

This build kicked ***, (minus ASUS). I will definatly want to do another custom case.

Yeah she loved it. Her parents think its the coolest thing ever too, lol.

I forgot to put in the build log but I made the front bezel on the DVD rom drive ninja style. I cut out a peice of sheet metal to the size of the front face, painted it the same color, and then attached it to the DVD Drive. Now it is hidden, but if you press on it the drive will open

I wish I had pics of it to show. It was so pimp :p

go to your gf's house and get a picture of it!
Haha, I will this weekend. It's a 3 hour drive so its not like I can just pop over and be like "GIMMIE TEH PC! PEOPLE REQUIRE PICS!". I will try to remember this weekend. The pics will have to be on my phone though so no promises on quality.

Great build. Wish I had the skills/time/money (take your pick :p) to do one. It's puttin me in the mood to expirement on my old P3 rig. Now look what you done WonderingSoul. Well done on the build though!

Here's some shots of the drive "mod" (I took them with my phone so they are probably pretty bad quality)

Here's a video I shot with my phone too.

That's all folks.

That drive idea is Cool just wonder where can get similar sheet for my zmachine. I also consider cutting the plastic on the side to add sidefans with the same filter. Need more red in this rig.

I have one question, is your heatsink blocking your ram slots on the mobo? It might just be the pics, I dunno.

Great work though. Love it.
