I'm trying to get my list straight of what to order for my new pc. As of right now this is what I have. Need to find a case to complete the list. As for the RAM right now I think I'm buying the ocz platinum ram, but am open to alternatives. So here it is:

And I'm stuck on what case to buy. Criticisms and case suggestions greatly appreciated. I know I need a second smaller hardrive, going to deal with that after.
Keep in mind everything is in Canadian dollars.

I really like my Apevia Sniper toolless case.Great air flow with 120mm fans. The back Pci holders are cheap but you can still use screws if needed. This case replaced my Antec 1080 and even though its shorter there is still room for my video card-s and everything in my sig

I would get 2 WD Caviar black drives. One for storage, one of the OS/Apps. Seeing as how you are going to i7 which has triple channel ram, you need multiples of 3 in the ram to use the triple chanel. So 3gb or 6gb.

As far as cases go, I prefer antec 1200 (see sig) over anything listed. But that choice is purely up to you. You have to stare at the thing for the next couple years not us, you decide.

How it looks isn't a big deal, it's not going to look stock once I get it anyway. I just need it to have adequate cooling for a good price.

The link to the ram doesn't work. What was it supposed to link to?
Thanks guys

The CoolerMaster Sileo 500 is pretty cheap, has all the right features plus sound dampening material..... Just found its big enough to fit a 4890 too....

What was the ram that was linked to though? Is there any reason I shouldn't buy the ocz?:welcome:
Think I may buy the sileo case.

I really like the Corsair XMS3, I find its doing well. So Id say my vote is in for that.

Btw, Choice 1 isnt valid since in your system is tri channel ram, so it has to be in 3's.

i7 processors can use tripple channel memeory. IE three or six sticks, but they can use dual channel memory too just like 775. IE two or four sticks.

As far as gaming goes there isn't a great deal of differnce. link

I'm not saying you shouldn't use tripple channel, I'm just saying you don't have to.
