ok first thing i find about this part of the site is theres too many stickys.. can someone ask one of the admins to make a subforum for the sticks like some othe areas have?

now onto my question. ..i am soon to be starting a folding farm, thus i will need a router or a hub.. not sure what i relly need for the network part..anyhelp will be ..well helpful.

You will need a router, and you most probably want a NAT router made out of your folding computers since that's the cheapest solution. Both, Linux and Windows can fold, and both can be a router. All you need are 2 network cards in the PC which does the routing, each other PC needs a single one as usual. Apart from that you have all you need if your PCs can fold

whats the diffence between a switch and a hub?

and on ncix ..whats a good one to get?
