Question about SLI/Crossfire

If I use 1 Nvidia video card on a motherboard that supports SLI will it perform better than 1 Nvidia video card on a motherboard that supports Crossfire? Assuming the specifications of the video cards are the same and the specifications of the motherboards are the same except for one supports SLI and one supports Crossfire.

No. And I think the AMD chipset boards have the better bioses these days.
