Ok I have 2 Basic questions
1) If I put a resistor on a fan, i.e. my rhe's, what would the actal efect be in voltage, does someone have a formula that i can use to plug in the value of the resistor, given the amps of the fan and the input voltage of 12, what the output voltag would be.
2) if i were to set the tornado to the lowest possible setting (100ohms) i dont know how many volts that is yet, how would i know how much noise it would make and how much cfm it produces, i know it is a ratio of the cfm and the dba that stays reletivly constant.
so prety much I want to know how much noise/CFM I wold get with a vantec tornado while a 100ohm resistor is on the 12 input line going into the fan. This is for my rheo which is 100ohm max.
can someone help me here?
