I have seen a few threads on this site and on other showing how you can take off these connectors using the inards of a pen (the inky tube bit). But i cant for the life of me get the buggers out/off. Can someone show, explain to me what i am meant to be aim for wen i use the tube?

thnx

The tube should be compressing the locking pins so that you can slide it out of the back of the connector. You need to make sure the pin removal tool is pushed far enough in for this to be possible and it should fit snugly around the outside of the pin in order for it to work.
Male pins can easily be removed with the assistance of tweezers. Female pins are more difficult to do without a pin removal tool of some kind.
