restoring start/program menu links

I recently restored windows (Acronis True Image) and did some partitioning (Partition Magic 8). Now all my start/program menu links no longer match up with the new partition drive letter(s). I sat there for two hours last night manually repairing the links and didn't even scratch the surface.

There's gotta be an app somewhere that searches and maps broken applications from the start/programs menu to their current drive/location.

Already tried that. It doesn't work, Drive mapper bypasses the start/progam's menu.
