Restoring XP MBR (from Win7)

I have a dual boot setup with XP on one HDD and Win7 on the other and Acronis OS selector to switch between the two or to select which one to boot.
Apparently the MBR (master boot record) on the WinXP HDD got corrupted, so I can't boot into it anymore. When I boot up Win7, I can see the other HDD and everything works fine.
How do I fix the MBR on the XP HDD while in Win7?
I dont have the Windows install or recovery CDs/DVDs....

it is linux based and supposedly works, though i've never tried it.
