infinite fin thermal conductivity
Its that part from the paper that you have to pay attention to. Silver does not have infinite conductivity.

The heat "flows", kinda like electricity or water, it will simply take the shortest route to the water... Directly through the silver platting.

Your route to the water is very short, which can be good, the cpu will not be hotter than the silver that is in contact with the water. You just have to keep the water velocity over the surface high to keep the thermal conductance through the silver/water interface good.

I would suggest doing one thing at a time. Try making a direct die water block, but not making the block and the block top.
