Since there is no explanation, the drive performs great and uses very little power, though it probably won't be a price leader... But it will push prices down in the future.

So thats what this thread is talking about, and why it might be worth jumping through the link, if you are interested.

Next time OP, please include this in the first post so everyone has an idea of what you are talking about, and why they should be interested.

Really ? ^ You could just break it down, I've heard nothing but great things, I have a 830 now and sincerely love it, the 840's are only better.

I love the speed of the 840, but worry about reliability. It uses 21nm toggle flash RAM, which supposedly has a shorter life.
