RH9 Boot up question....

When I boot up RH9 it finds my Hard Drive's and CD-ROM's and then goes to search for hde & hdg and I get these errors:

hde: no response (status = 0xfe)
hdg: no response (status = 0xfe)

It slows my boot time down dramatically. It takes almost 45 seconds to search for these two things. Is there any way I can bypass it or something?

What does your /etc/fstab file look like?

Checked that file there is nothing in there about hde or hdg. Is there a line I should add or something?
