ok heres the deal.....i have just put together a new computer with the following specs
Foxconn A74mx-k Motherboard
Athlon x2 e4850
2 gigs of pny ddr2
so on and so on...
anyways i have a hardrive which is 160gb that is SATA and another drive which is optical that is sata but forgot to order another sata to power adapter so for right now im trying to hook up this ide dvd rom...its not a burner or nothing just a dvd rom....i have hook up 2 other optical drives...a cd-rom...and a dvd burner and i get the same message as my subject entitles...ive tried taking battery out....resetting with jumper....changing jumpers on drives nothing works....help please
