Server spec to run website based on Composr CMS

I am exploring an option to setup a home server to run a website. The site is developed using Composr CMS system.

Members, kindly let me know what would be the ideal minimum specification I can have for my site server.

I have decent broadband connection.

Realistically, it'll run on a potato. May I ask why you want to run it from your own server, rather than paying $5-10 for real hosting?
