Microsoft changed their little performance score system.

Need to replace the HDD to raise the overall score but my last gen WCed rig is at all 7.0 or above excluding drive transfer rates.

Last time I ran it, it was lower, much lower overall..

Not to be blunt here, but that is a hell of a lot of scrolling for system information. I might have missed it, but I don't know what your score is...

To answer the thread title, I don't think changing a loop can affect performance, but you never know...

I know that most on here (OCF) don't think to highly of WEI. If it means a lot to you, post a screeny of the WEI screen for comparison.

If it was cpu, you lowered/raised your clock or changed another cpu related setting (FSB). If it was ram, I would point to timings. Graphics, I would say driver change and you excluded the hard drive.

Ram is set to stock speeds.

No drivers changed (if it works and there isnt a drastic change, why break something)

Only change between the two runs is time and a loop redo.

Ahh well either way, doesnt really matter as the windows score means as much to me as synthetic benchmarks do to real life.
 
Well come to think of it, I had a similar type thing. I ran the bench a while ago and my graphics was a 7. I reran it after I installed on my SSD and got a 6. I'm pretty sure it was switching from 196.18 to the newest drivers though. :shrug:
