Hello,

I have some questions about thermal pads.
Do thermal pads dry out (when) ?
Do I have to replace them when taking of the heatsink of the graphics card?
Do you know good pads?

Most dont really...Ive never replaced them.

Not if you are careful when putting them back.

Thermal pads usually survive taking the GPU cooler or mosfet off. They are slimy bits, best dealt with carefully, they do tear. You can buy replacement material usually if all goes to hell.

That's Tpads, not Ttape. T Tape is a fully different animal.

They don't dry out while in use. If on a table for a few weeks, then?
