what the hell is so good about these that makes used 74gb 8mb (cache?) hdds seem like such a good deal at $100 where if you hunt around, you can get a brand new, 300gb, 16mb cache seagate for about the same price (after rebate)?

Their speed is what makes them so good. I am sure somone on here will post the specs for you, but raptor drives are crazzy fast.

Please keep in mind, it is Monarch. If you need the drives soon and on time you are gambling. They are not the best on timely shipping.
