Alright, i have an HP PC...
Specs are as follows:
5000+ AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor
2048 MB RAM
400 GB HDD
PNY NVidia GeForce 7600 GS Vid Card
Hauppage something tuner ;) lol, its stock
and last but never least, Windows Vista Home Premium :/

My problem, ever since i upgraded form an Nvidia 6150 LE, to the new card listed above, im getting the BSOD when i open and view Windows Media Center, or Media Player, for a little while.

I have it hooked up to my TV, at 1080i resolution
i removed the driver for the 6150, and installed the latest driver for the 7600.

Any clue on why its doin this?

I don’t know if this would cause a BSOD but in bios did you check and make sure your have PCIe as the primary display adapter now? And not onboard (or whatever your mobo calls it?)

yea... i did that :)
anyways:
here's the problem report i got from the control panel

Try booting into safe mode and uninstalling your current drivers.

then go back into windows normally and install the current set of drivers clean. it seams you have a driver confilct. best bet is to wipe old drivers and reinstall fresh the new drivers.

i did all that, and ran driver cleaner pro...
for some reason, it removed the product key as well :/
anyways, after resetting the product key, and reactivating, im still getting the same problem :(
i made sure that bios info read "PCI Express"
and i accidentally removed the network controller driver from nForce :(
so i had to restore comp.
Bottom line, it didn't work :(
