Weird issue with overclocking Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

Hi everyone, I have quite a peculiar situation going on with my Q9550. First things first - here are my specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
Mobo: ASUS P5E-VM DO
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
RAM: 4 GB PC2-6400
Cooling: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13
PSU: FirePower ModXStream Pro 600W 80Plus

All right, so the issue is that I can't go above 340 FSB without increasing the PCIE Frequency. I tried different FSB frequencies, various cpu voltages and dram frequencies but the only time the FSB freq is willing to go more than 340 MHz is when I increase the PCIE freq above the standard 100 MHz. Right now my BIOS settings look like this:
CPU Ratio: 8.5
FSB Freq: 360
PCI Freq: 105
DRAM Freq: DDR2-864Mhz
CPU Voltage: 1.2500V
CPU PLL Voltage: Auto
DRAM Voltage: 1.90V
FSB Termination Voltage: Auto
North Bridge Voltage: Auto
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled

I am aware that increasing PCIE frequency can be really bad for various components though I've seen many people claiming that 110 Mhz is the safe limit. I know that my RAM and mobo won't let me go over FSB 400MHz but something is definitely not right. Any ideas/tips?
 
Im shocked that board even overclocks... 3 phase, not heatsink and trying to push a Q9550? That isn't the best idea I have seen I have to admit. Seems right to me.. but try making sure your memory ratio is 1:1 with FSB, that will help.

OCZ MOdXstream Pro PSU.. had to look that up, the firepower threw me off

Post screenshots of your settings.. CPUz the first tab, memory and SPD please. If you haven't updated to the latest BIOS for the board, do so.
 
SAme advice... lower the memory ratio/multipplier so it is 1:1 to your FSB and see if that is the problem.
