What do you think of my new build

I'm just starting to put together a build.I'm open for suggestions. I want to wait for the second stepping + I want to see how everything shakes out in the next few months.This is a do all computer.I play FPS games.I don't really have a budget but..I'd like to get the best I can afford.The PSU and SSD and case will be brought from my sig rig.

This would be my first asrock board. From what I read Asrock is a preferred MB on this site.I really liked the gigabyte MB in the past. Right now I'm still looking at all MB's.open to all opinions tho. I think my budget is 1500.00



IMO, 780 is only worth it if you're above 1080P.

I went with the 780 because I didn't want to run a 6 series re-branded 770

At least with the past generation, ASUS, Gigabyte, and ASRock were the top three (in that order). Still up in the air about Z87.

What's the big deal about rebranding? It performs better and at a lower price and is significantly better bang/buck than the GK110 cards.

Get the H100i cooler instead. It's not much more money and it's higher performance. Looks 'neater' installed too.

Your build looks good. Does the case you're re-using have 2 120mm fan mounts in the top for the H100i to hook up to?

If the H100i won't fit go with the Noctua NH-D14 instead of the Phanteks. It comes with a much higher quality pair of fans.

I got my parts in today,I changed the HSF to a Corsair to a H100i like Theocnoob said.
I'll be building it this weekend,so....fun times to be had

I opened everything.I didn't get any case badges from Corsair from the water cooler or the power supply,whats up with that

I will be taking pictures of everything and most likely start a build log

Case badges dont matter much imo. You know what parts you have in there. You dont need logos on your case to remind you. It is odd though that you didnt get any corsair badges. You could contact them and im sure theyll send you a couple for free.
