Let me know how that works out.I might just get my GF one for her PC

The monitor arrived well packaged and in like new condition. It has no dead pixels, 0 hours on the backlight, and all-around looks great. There have been some reports on slickdeals of issues ranging from dead pixels to damaged screens. I'd say they are the minority though. Regardless of how few have had problems, there is still some risk. But, you don't get a $450 monitor refurbed for $200 without some risk. I rolled the dice and I'm extremely happy with the outcome.

*Edit*
I didn't realize how much bigger a 24" is compared to a 22" (which is what I was originally in the market for but picked this up due to comparable price). This thing is a behemoth.

I have a 23" Sony LCD which I bought in 2002. Really great monitor, but it's showing its age in some areas (50ms response).

I can use my 50" plasma if I want, but the resolution is 1/4 that of the Sony, so I usually only use it for looking at pics/movies. I also have a 15" LCD on a 2nd computer.

In the Living Room(My Rig), it's a 42" Sharp Aquos 720(p?)

and in the Bedroom(G/F Rig), It's my 52" Sharp Aquos 1080p :p

Pics taken on my iPhone, sorry about the clarity :/ and please excuse the mess, I haven't cleaned yet this week.

I run 2x 24" LCD Dell monitors and on occasion I may hook up my 42" monitor for movies/gaming.

24" Dell 2407WFP-HC, running off a XFX GTX260 sp216. I may get another 24" soon to run a dual monitor setup.

Got my 22" widescreen Hanns G Hi221D in January. Pretty nice display. Definitely a big size improvement over the ol' dell 193FP. Great 22" display. For 150$, it simply cannot be beat.

I use a Samsung LN40A650 40" LCD TV for my monitor for my desktop. 22" just didn't cut it any more. ike mentioned above, my 15.4" laptop is my main computer.

Samsung T260HD 26" LCD

1920x1200, 2xHDMI, VGA, DVI, Component, Digital Audio In/Out $525 at my local CompUSA. Needless to say I'm extremely happy with it. The only feature it lacks that I would've liked was PIP to have a little square with my TV input displaying on it. Had to keep my 20" Sony CRT VEGA TV Set for that.

19 inch samsung sync master :D. I love it. the colors are superb and the 1440*900 is like 4 times as many pixels as I used to run on the old dell crt.

24" planar on my new $58 shipped staples desk
