What resolution for my specs?

I'm curious what would be a good resolution on a monitor would be for games and movies for my specs. Also possibly for a widscreen. I was thinking around 19"-21".

max resolution of your LCD support

1280x1024 should work with all settings on max. 1600x1200 should work with 2xAA or maybe a few settings on medium, anything above that would vary. From what I heard, 19" screens LCD only go up to 1280x1024, the Dell 2001FPW or 2004FPW are both great ones.

you will also want to keep an eye on your refresh rates, i noticed that at higher res with a 60hz refresh it gets kinda glitchy. i downed my res to 1280x1024 so i could get a 75hz refresh.
