That's actually enough to be thinking about getting a different ISP, IMO.

Appears to be routing problems. But may be temporary.

I'm just concerned, because that was for only 100 miles.

I would understand somewhat if the test server was located in the pacific zone.

1. I can either stay with my cable or go to verizon dsl. dsl is slower that crap out here.

This is work... I have another SS at home from the other side of base... Im on the side thats out in the boondocks lol.... the other side I got about 19 MB down and I think 7Mb up... lol
 
Lucky you, your university doesn't throttle the upload per host.

Do you have daily quotas? At Purdue, you only get 5GB per day.

not bad, i wish my friends would get a lil better net tho....i try to send a dam powerpoint to em (350k) and it takes em a good day to get it
