Hi guys.
Got mortar b450m board and looking to install m.2 nvme. Already got ssd and a few 3.5 hdds but looking to tidy the storage up.
Also looking to swap put my 1050ti for rx 5700xt.
Can someone explain please of the gpu will still run full with the m.2 running or will either be affected? Read something about pci4 being disabled.
Don't really understand it or whether its worth the m.2 as already got an ssd
Thanks.

A single GPU will always run at the full bandwidth (so long as nothing is populating the other full-length slot).

If you take a look in your manual/the website, you can see that the only note for the storage is this:
PCI_E4 slot will be unavailable when an M.2 SSD is installed in the M2_2 slot.

...the full-length slot at the bottom is disabled. ;)

Thank you both.
I was worried that adding the m.2 would affect the gpu.
I've seen the 6800 I think it is launch video, can't stretch to £900 I seen the price.
