When my computer post windows takes about 15 minutes to load
So far I done a chkdsk /r and no bad sectors were found.

Please help I really don't want to format my hd to fix this.
By the way my computer is partition. The other space is unformated :cry: :cry:
 
you don't have to reformat the whole harddrive if its partitioned, just the partition that windows is on. i am partitioned and i reformat atleast ever 4 weeks

Lol Xenocide - so you dont ever have to activate your copy of windows? :thup:
 
is this pc part of a domain? If so, this is usually caused by a DNS mis configuration.
 
I figured it out. The reason it was taking so long to boot was I didn't delete the linux partition on my Hd I delteted most of it but I left the extended partition active duh!1 :beer: :beer:
