I've been playing a lot of AAO latley, but I was spending more time looking for a lag-less server than playing.

After playing with my broadband settings, I fixed it!

I used Foce 100 half duplex instead of autonegotiation. Now I'm getting 1Mbs down/160kbs up from .5Mbs down/130Kbs up.

Yay! No more lag!

Update:

1152Kbs down/212Kbs up. :D :D :D

hey i dont know what that is but i want to figure it out. :D

1. Open Network connections.
2. Right click on your LAN.
3. Select properties.
4. Click "configure.."
5. Go to Advanced Tab
6. Highlight "speed/duplex settings"
7. Try each one and see what is tha fastest, no restart needed either.

I find that force half duplex seems to work better that full, although I have no idea why. If your on 10Mbs connection use the 10 setting 100Mps use 100.

ok i am on a cable connection and i notice sometime that i am getting lag in games such as bf1942 my ping is really high, what settings should i put it at and how can i test it if it is better or worse thanks.
