i say altho its a little more pricey, its a very good alternative.

The LCD panels aren't the whole LCD. The Dell LCDs are better implemented right now even if Samsung made the panels.
 
From what I understand Dell just uses rebadged Samsungs or has them make everything and put the Dell tag on it. Comes down the same line with the same parts just different case and badge. They have done this on models made by both Samsung and LG for Dell. But I guess I could be wrong.

What would you say the best 20-22in LCD with 2ms is? Used for mainly gameing? In the price range of about $300.
