about 6mths ago i got some hyundi pc133 sdram 256 to replace some generic 128meg pc100 sdram in my puter, only could get 100/100 with safe settings,so been running my puter at 1006mhz,not good i tried allsorts of diff settings and cooling (lapped heatsink ,case fans ,ok now,but i think the mobo is picky about what sort of mem it uses),got some infinon pc133 last week and can get 147/147 no prob.the question is,is the hyundi bad ram or is it not compatable with my mobo(k7s5a)my mate wants it but i don't want to give him something thats no good

If you are giging it to him and it dosen't perform well in him board then I don't see any harm done.
If you are selling it to him then offer a return if it dosen't like his board.
