Quite interesting- a bit outdated though.
The article comments that EDDR may become DDRII- I certainly hope so, since it sounds like DDRII as described would be teh suck.

Not really the article goes down the line if I recall correctly that embedded DDR is an alternative soloution to DDR2 . Since DDR2 has some latency problems and may be beaten by high speed ddr1 in some cases .
