Here is a great review featuring the Kingston PC3500 Hyper-X module vs. the Corsair PC3200C2 module. In the end they are basically the same...

I don't see what DRAM chip is in the HyperX? What ns?

If they want to compare 3500C2 and write a review, how can they just use a Corsair 3200C2, without using a Corsair 3500C2 counterpartt to compare with HyperX 3500 !!!! Do they have a 3500C2 stick to drop in and test and add the result ???

well it wouldn't be fair dropping a C2 corsair of the same speed in with a C2.5 kingston, if they really wanted to be fair, they should use kingston pc3500 C2.5 and corsair pc3500 C2.5 - (don't know if there are any corsair C2.5 available)

I think the Kingston HyperX 3500 module is PC3500 CAS2 8-4-4-2 1T (as shown in the review also). It should be compared with Corsair 3500 CAS2 to be meaningful.

Instead they used Corsair 3200 CAS2 to compare with Kingston HyperX 3500 CAS2, which makes the review less than useful, ... when I want to shop for the memory, IMHO.

From personal experience the Kingston HyperX PC3500 can go beyond 230 MHz. My Corsair PC3200c2 isn't stable above 221 MHz. But with prices so low on ram right now it's tough to pass on either, I mean the Corsair is now $146 for a 512 stick.
