Very Hot Nb !!!?

fit a zalman passive heatsink to my NB and after sustained use of the computer the thing feels realy hot to touch.. almost too hot to touch near the base.

Thing is, when teh standard 8INXP heatsink & fan was originally installed i touched it once and it was just as hot ...

is this normal ? I am only on around a 15% overclock and 153 fsb


maybe these 8INXP's just run hot ??

in my experience, all p4 ddr mobos get really hot northbridges...

If you go to the local computer store, have a look for a super-quiet 40mm fan, and stick it on the NB, the little airflow (and little noise) that it provides will probably knock a couple of degrees off the NB temp.
