Seems "sumtin's up" with Abit and the IS7.

First the great Beta Bios was pulled from the Abit FTP site.... why??

Second, [H] announced their review of the IS7 would be posted Monday or Tuesday, now nothing.

Wonder what's going on? Maybe Abit doesn't want to show the true performance capabilities so as not to cut into IC7 sales. Maybe Intel put some pressure on ABIT. Maybe [H] is just waiting until ABIT releases the Bios to Mainstream users before posting their results with it.

We all know the relationship between [H] and Abit so I'm certain the review probably was held up at the request of ABIT. Wonder why? Could just be a very simple explanation also. 'Guess we'll have to just wait and see.

Still, where's the Beta Bioses on Abit's site?

CHIP FIRM INTEL warned that system manufacturers and users that attempt to overclock 865 chipsets using PAT (performance acceleration technology) may end up with systems that are not under warranty.
The stern warning sends out a clear challenge from Intel to motherboard makers including Asus, Epox, Abit and others that introducing a BIOS to enable elements of 875 technology in 865 chipsets is meeting strong disapproval from the chip giant.
