When I use BIOS to OC my 875 FIS2R to over 220 FSB the on-board sound chip stops responding. BIOS won't detect it and neither will Windows.
Have you experienced something like this?
BTW: It is possible to OC up to 260 from BIOS, but the sound is than off.
CoreCell tweaks work fine, but the software itself (1.0.5.3) is stupid (crashes, don't remember voltages - when I save and restart it is increased . Moreover: similar overclocking from BIOS and Corecell give different results in Sandra and 3D mark (BIOS seems better)
Also the BIOS 1.6 is strange, when set to default (200 FSB) everything (CPUZ, WCPUID, even Corecell) show that FSB is 203 and when Corecell attempts to set it to 200 or default it hangs :-(.
Thanks.
