SLK800 clips question

Hi,

I have a slk800u w/ thermal take smart fan 2 on it, i use those clips to hold the fan on the hs. Now my question is can i put a grill on my fan, and would the clips still be able to hold the fan on?

I havent tried it because i jsut havent had the time to pop open my case agian and fiddle so i thought i would ask. And are there any pics of grills on the fan on the slk800.

it should be fine. fan grills dont weigh much anyway.

its not the weight, im not sure if the clips will be able to grip the fan, and it may slip off...

It's still ok. I have done it with a chrome finger guard, it takes a little more pressure to do so but it works just fine.

you shouldnt even need a grill. they make more noise too. ive never had a problem...you just have to keep the cables out of the fan
