There are several BIOS'es around for this motherboard in addition to official ones. Here are the examples that I have managed to collect.

I am sure there must be more around. Can somebody who has got detailed information about these BIOS'es classify and explain them for the benefit of forum members.

KT7 bios downloads for highpoint and windows xp:

The primary reason that I know of for these modified bioses is to incorporate version 2.x highpoint bios code into the KT7 bios. This is very important to those who would like to run Windows XP on a KT7(A)-raid board since Windows XP does NOT support the version 1.x Highpoint bios. With version 2.x drivers on a windows XP machine, the bios can be updated to one which includes the 2.x code, and the raid controller will then be supported by windows XP.
