argh!.. ive got a OCPC (now a dead company it seems) chipset block .. but my northbridge on my motherboad has mouting holes in the wrong places and capasitors in the way :-/ does any one know anyway of moutning a chipset block with no mouting holes? (ill have to cut them off the ones on the chipset block to fit it on top of the chip)

thanx for the help

a block so that you can epoxy it on? Im sure one can be made. I would do it for you but I dont have the time lately.

i could use my dremell to cut off the mounting holes on my block so iam left with a plane square block then expoy it to the chipset,

but.. A) the chipset block has a plexy top..

b)will the chipset be strong enough to hold the waterblock in place.

and C) is there a way of removing the block once ive expoed'd it on?

a: it could be alright if your really careful. B: yeah, its the epoxy you gotta be conserned about. C: depends on how reliably you epoxy it on.
