The mobo in my sig doesn't seem to be recognizing any floppy drives. I noticed at post that is says, floppy drive/s fail. I tried a good drive out of another machine, but got the same results.
Well, I guess, the mobo might be recognizing it because it does show up in my computer, but when I try to read a disk, it says there is no disk in drive A. It did it with both drives. I can not hear the drives being accessed like you normally would.
Any suggestions?

You've probably tried both of these but...:

I've seen my floppy drop out the BIOS before for no apparent reason. Check the BIOS settings for FDD, make sure A: is set to 1.44mb, 3.5" or something like that.

Also check your ribbon cable. I've put those on backwards before. If you did that the floppy LED will stay on all the time but it won't work.
