Ehiem 1250 1/2 in ID question

The top plastic outlet nozzle that comes with my Eheim 1250 is tapered from 1/2 inch ID up to 3/8 inch ID. I want every connection in the sys to be 1/2 ID. What do you guys do to acheive this with this pump? Get another barb fitting somewhere? (duh) Thanks for helping out with this; as soon as my waterblock is made (please Cathar is it ready yet?) I will be ready to rock.

Best thing if you want 1/2"ID is to get 5/8"OD barbs. Cause all 1/2"barbs have a 3/8"ID it's not just the one on your Eheim.
