I just put mobile athlon xp into Shuttle SN45G and it detects as "Mobile Athlon XP" in bios. Pretty interesting as my NF7 detects as unknown CPU, even desktop bios have different ways of identifying cpus.

Yep - my old MSI KT4VL detected the mobile as a mobile, but as you said, the NF7 can't.

It really doesn't matter, it treats it the same as any other chip. The NF7 just doesn't have the name string that corresponds to the microcode the mobile cpu supplies.

my dfi infinity with 4/29 bios detects it as a mobile as well
