ok i have norton anti-virus 2004 pro, done a scan but, i keep on noticing thati am get unknown proccess that i have never seen before

wmipruse

also winlogon sometimes stays

and i have 3 svchost one that uses 22 936k, 2 884k and 4 020 k

any idea if it is a virus, i am running xp pro, and why are these here.

ps one more thing i noticed is that all the proccess take some memory up, some takes alot. I have also done a spyware check
 
are you sure you don't mean wmiprvse?

If you do mean the above, then they are all valid processes, no need to worry.

A little googling makes a world of difference.

wkcalrem.exe

I'm assuming you misspelled this one. wmiprvse.exe


The Svchost's work with Dll's so you need them. I have 5 running. nothing to be worried about.

EDIT: aww he beat me to it.
