AVI to WMA

Hey guys I have a 700mb AVI movie file that I want to convert to WMA.

Reason is that Macs dont play AVI? Im working on a school project and need to get this file converted to WMA or MOV possibly without lossing the quality of it. Thanks guys

Huh? Macs don't recognize AVI's?? Shouldn't they be able to play anything given the correct codec?

Anyways I believe Windows movie maker can open avi's and convert them to wmv.

Yea but it knocks down the file to 6mb really killing the quality.
