Couple newb questions about the Asus p5wd2-e Premium - C2D compatible?

I currently use this motherboard combined with a Pentium d 820, i was wondering if it is compatible with core 2 duo or not... i cant seem to find a definitive answer.

Also i know it is crossfire compatible, but can it do SLI as well, or just crossfire?

And if it only does crossfire, is crossfire as good as SLI?

Yeah it's a 975 so C2D support is a yes.

CF/SLi isn't worth it.

Don't think Asus p5wd2-e supports Core CPU, cause the oldest Asus 975 board that supports Core is P5W-DH Deluxe.

no it dose not support core 2 duo i have this board had to buy a p5wdh also a 975 but with core 2 duo support i wish it did also
