I've been trying to buy a gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P off newegg and zipzoomfly for a week now, but they are perpetually out of stock.

Are there any comparable boards out there with the same unusual features (parallel port, serial port, IEEE1394, IDE port in good location, and excellent overclocking)?

I've considered DS3R, but i havn't heard any overclocking results from it. The only thing it doesn't have is that nifty IEEE1394 port.

i read a review, and they got its FSB to 505mhz, which is pretty good.

I have owned 2 DS3R's (sold my first built PC) and they took my E6420 to 3.2ghz on air EASY, which isn't news. It's stable even with Speedstep and the other energy savings thingie enabled.

I would go with this board and add Firewire card to it if I needed it.

The Abit IP35 is a better motherboard than the GA-P35-DS3P.
