anyone ever had trouble with google checkout or buy.com?

i ordered a usb cable yesterday that should have been free after GCO and had free shipping. i got a response later in the day from google though that said:

"Thank you for usingGoogle Checkout. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify some of the order details for the following order. As a result the order has been cancelled.

You may resubmit this order by visiting Buy.com again. To help us verify the order details, we recommend that your billing and shipping addresses match what is on file with your bank, and that the phone number listed in your Checkout account is one where you can be reached by our specialists."

all my info is correct. i've never used GCO before. i can't figure out what's up. i've got inquiries into both companies but wanted to know if any of you have had trouble and what the problem was.
 
hmmmm.... a response from GCO says that i've tried to use it more than once. not that i know. maybe my wife did but i don't think so.
