I am reformatting the my computer in order to fix some problems, just wanted to verify a few things that I should or should not install in order to troubleshoot successfully. Trying to just install the essential for good performance and minimize bloat.
1. EPU engine 6= No
2. Gamer OSD= No
3. SmartDoctor= No
and the most important one that is somewhat video card related...
For my ASUS HD 4850 running on my ASUS P5Q pro... should I install the most recent drivers for it from the ASUS site, or use the ATI drivers from the ATi site? The ASUS one in version 8.4 or so, ATI is 9.4. It would be a shame to install the wrong drivers after a fresh reinstall, so... which one? I have had my computer work with both, but I would assume I use the one from ASUS unless someone has found reason to act otherwise.
