Just bought this kit

from newegg. I thought that it wouldn't make a difference having 1600 memory vs the 1333.

I borrowed a co-workers 6-8-6-20 1600 1T memory and threw it in my machnie and was amazed at the difference in synthetic benchmarks. I gained almost 5fps in crysis, and my cinebench score went up more than a tenth of a point!

What are the chances the kit that I ordered will clock up to 1600 and be able to keep the rated 7-7-7 timings?

Should I have ordered this kit instead?

I would say rather slim chance they will make 6-8-6 or even 7-7-7. I have the gskill kit rated at 8-8-8 at 1600 and they will do 7-8-7 but need another .1 volts to do it.
