Abit VL6 (p3) won't boot.

I have a abit VL6 mobo w/ p3 933. for some reason it won't boot up, and the screen it blank. the monitor shows the testing screen like it is not plugged in. (yes, it's pugged in.) it looking like it is taking power, the power and hdd leds come on. i tried a different video card with no change. please help.
