Could you use a bilge pump out of a boat? Most can handle constant use, produce little heat, and run off of 12volts. I found one for $15 at walmart. 500gpu

I think you will find that bilge pumps dont have a long life expectany most are around 1500 hours or so, pleeze correct me if i am rong someone.

that is correct, low life, thats why cpufx uses them

I'm not sure on how long they last but if its gonna be the lifeline for your PC I wouldn't comprimise safety over price... check into it first.
