very basically...The T-Bred "A" was the first revision of the Palamino core. There was a die shrink to .13 micron process, a voltage reduction and the layout of the core components was rearranged. The T-Bred "B" is a revision of the "A" core. AMD added a ninth layer to the process with additional circuits... lifted this quote from an article at Tom's Hardware... "The increased number of circuit paths results in better conductivity for the connections within the processor, which, in turn, automatically decreases the amount of thermal loss. Also, AMD has added further condensers in order to significantly decrease the interference of transistors at high clock speeds in this combination of interconnect layers and capacities. " Most Hardware review sites that reviewed the "B" core when released, explained this better than I can... but hope this helps
