Ok, I have been searching for how to unlock a 2100 Palomino to get the lower multi's but all I seem to find is about T-breds. I have seen people say that to unlock the T-breds you have to connect the L1's as usual then connect two pins to close the L10 as shown here: http://vr-zone.com/Home/news152/news152.htm#2501

Is this method the same as it would be to unlock a 2100 Palomino? I need to know for sure because I am thinking about unlocking my chip over Christmas break since I may be switching to H2O cooling then anyway if Santa comes through...hehe...:D . Anyway, I may just send it to a company to get it professionally done...but I forgot that company that does it...it's like 30 bucks and they solder the bridges and use clearcoat over them...maybe not such a good idea for the whole warranty thing...but...ya know how it is...

Anyway, thanks for the help and sorry if this is a redundant post but I really haven't found anything to help clarify the difference between unlocking a 2100 Palomino and a 2100 T-bred.

I dont know if that will work on your pally 2100. The only method I am aware of (that I am 100% works) to unlock the lower multis on the xp2100 is to reverse the L10 bridges from . : | to . | : That will require cutting one of the bridges (and obviously connecting the other) but cutting a bridge is quite dangerous, as you could cut into the cpu which may damage a trace killing the CPU.

There is a pin mod that you can use to unlock the lower multis but I have not personally seen verification that it works, it may eve be the same pins. I haven't checked it out:
