Different types of stock HSFs on ATI models?

I was looking at my 9700 Pro and my 9500 Pro and I noticed that the two fans were different. The one on the 9700 PRO (which cools better btw) is made up of 4 large fins, while my 9500 PRO consists of like 8 or 9 little fins. Nevertheless, anyone out there have anything different?

mm the more fins the more surface area. the more surface area, the more cooling. I guess we'd have to see it to find out though.
